Scholarships attract the brightest students to LUMS
Merit is the sole criteria for financial aid at LUMS, and every third student at LUMS receives some form of financial support. In the financial year 2017-18, a total of PKR 871 million was disbursed towards scholarships, financial aid and interest-free loans. The University also offers a 50% scholarship for all the female students enrolled in certain programmes.

Tackling inequity in education is part of the LUMS mission
LUMS goes to great lengths to access underserved areas throughout the country and attract budding talent through the National Outreach Programme (NOP). A unique scholarship launched in 2001, the NOP aims to educate brilliant individuals from underprivileged backgrounds from across Pakistan by covering their full tuition and board expenses.
